Here are some wonderful people who are part of our journey. We love their work and are so thankful we get to work with such amazing people!

CREATIVES

Ali Watt took some of the early interior shots at BAM. We love how he makes our space look.

Arianna is a Glasgow based visual story teller. She is as lovely as her photographs.

Paul Andrew Reich took the wonderful portrait of Elaine and Jen. We hate having our picture taken but you would never know it in this beautiful shot.

Saved by Robots are the creative agency behind our branding. They nailed our brief and are just excellent at what they do.

Emma Sarah McBride is a gorgeous creative photographer, based in Glasgow.

Studio Gently is a such a talent! Based in Edinburgh she is the go-to-gal for high end editorial shots of your brand!

COFFEE & BAKERS & YUMMY FOOD MAKERS

A.pastry are our local southside plant based baker. They make stunning cakes and bakes - including our dog treats. They do pastry boxes; they’re worth eating.

Bare Bones have recently been featured on Rick Steins TV show food stories - but we have been stocking them for years! A true artisan product, this bean to bar chocolate is hand crafted in Glasgow from single origin beans that are roasted personally by Cam and Lara in their chocolate factory 10 minutes down the road from BAM Glasgow. This might be the best chocolate you will ever taste and after all, if it’s good enough for Rick….

Cairngorm Coffee have been crafting coffee in Edinburgh since 2014. With a strong focus on quality and community, they have become a strong part of the fantastic Scottish coffee scene.

Common is a coffee roaster based in Edinburgh. Dedicated to roasting damn good coffee while doing good along the way, this small business is an 11.

Dear Green “LOVE coffee! Every bean is well considered, well sourced and only sold if it meets their QC tolerances. They are obsessed!” Great Coffee with great ethics, this team lead the way.

Faodail Roastery is a speciality coffee roaster in the South side of Glasgow. Faodail have been such good friends to BAM since we opened and are the epitome of community spirit!

Fatso is ethical, chunky and delicious dark chocolate, that doesn’t take itself so seriously. Single origin and packed with inclusions, these bars are to be less savoured and MORE devoured!

Girls Who Grind Coffee an all female roastery supporting female producers and all women in coffee. These babes brew it better and we have featured them regularly since our launch in 2018.

Hardlines, a cardiff based coffee roaster and some of the best packaging in the scene. Often found as retail beans in the shop, they also feature reguarly in our hopper.

Harrys Nut Butter has proven very popular and we can understand why. A true classic with a twist, as delicious in a stirfry as it is spread on toast. Come check out the new kids on the block.

Heist Chocolate have been in Bam for a long while because we love ‘em; slinging their wares from Cardiff, their range of alt bars and drinking chocolate are unique and sometimes odd, frankly.

Juno deserves a whole blog post dedicated to the queen of preserves! Mhari makes the sweetest jams and spreads by hand using local, seseaonal produce. Her miso apple butter is like nothing we have ever eaten before and even a humble rhubarb jam is elevated to sublime with her magic touch.

Kitty’s Doughnuts are the best hand made doughnuts in the city and you can find them at bam every Sunday. Her rotation of seasonal flavours and the softest dough make them a must try!

Machina Coffee an Edinburgh based one-stop-shop for all your coffee needs. From Beans to equipment, they got you. And their customer service is something special.

Maple Leaf Bakery is a wizard! Her pastry work is some of the finest in Scotland. Bakewell tarts, almond croissants, cruffins filled with the smoothest creme pat and seasonal fruit - divine!

Peacock’s Ice-Cream are our life life favourites, we are their collection point just to be near their peerless, evocative ice-cream every week. We also sell full size tubs of their every changing flavours and in summer months collab on a special, single serve size BAMpot, perfect for a walk to Queens park.

Trodden Black fill our shelves with fire! A range of chilli jams and hot sauces made in Dollar by Kit. Great taste award winning stuff so get it on your grocercy list STAT.

Us v Them are the heroes of the Scottish coffee scene. Us v Them have been engineering coffee since 2017 and as well as providing technical support, equipment and machine installations to specialty shops they have just launched their very own coffee shop in Glasgow’s East end. All round good people who know everything there is to know about the coffee industry. And about loads of other things too.

Yolk + Pod cinnamon rolls, cracked cookies, cakes and those salted caramel brownies! Yes those! They’re stocked in some selected cafes dotted across the city. We love them.

INDIE BRANDS

Alice’s Illustrations is a Glasgow based freelance Illustrator & Graphic Designer. A wonderful human and a wonderful artist, go treat yourself to some of her work.

The Archivist supply us with beautiful and wacky cards and matches fit for every occasion.

Ark Colour Design provide us with the quirk and smirk of accessories. Their products are produced in Scotland but sold through their outlet in Cambridge.

As Small As You Are is a local clothing brand for children. Her pieces are hand-crafted and hand embroidered resulting in long-lasting and unique pieces that are truly adorable.

Babylon Jewllery is a Glasgow based maker whose interest in fashion and design can be seen in her polymer clay pieces. Art for your ears from the coolest girl in the Southside.

Beth Longmore is a local freelance illustrator and newest addition to the BAM team. Her quirky and whimsical style is a favourite of ours and we can’t get enough of her particular adoration of greyhounds.

The Blankfaces are the UK’s first fashion brand working to end homelessness. Go buy some stuff immediately and tell all your friends and family about the work they are doing.

Claremont Studio - paintings, illustration, candle apothecary and gifts from Award winning Scottish artist Tracey Johnston

Douglas Wright Pop Americana art with a Scottish twist. The most charming man you will ever meet. You would never know he toured with the Motley Crue.

Dust Studio - an independent Glasgow brand producing contemporary colorful wearable objects. Fun earrings from wonderful local artist.

Dusty Watts is part of the BAM team as well as a locally based illustrator. She produces a range of lighthearted cards as well as a selection of risograph prints.

Emma Wylie is a Glasgow based jeweller and key part of the BAM team. She creates beautiful bespoke jewellery inspired by coastal textures that we love almost as much as her.

Ella Fletcher is a locally based ceramist creating hand thrown homewares that bring joy and colour to the everyday.

Fenella Smith are a vegan leather brand that produce bold, sleek design products. We enjoy their minimal approach and sustainable approach to working with leather. They are certified by the Vegetarian Society and work with Offset Earth to ensure their environmental positivity.

Flowers Vermilion fills our shop with joy and flowers whenever she visits. If you need some floral wonders in your life, she’s the one!

Hakon Clothing are a bespoke street wear company hand printing in Glasgow. We love the story behind this brand and everything they are about. Plus they have a fresssh vibe, which is much needed in a shop full of old things.

Ianthe Hope is an absolutely integral part of the BAM team as well as locally based illustrator. You’re sure to recognise her four eyed portraits that stand out on any wall. She is also a very talented watercolour artist, making beautiful pet portraits and more.

Izzy McFarlane is a ceramicist based in Margate that we, nor you, can get enough of! Her bright colours and incredible use of shapes are sure to brighten up every cup of coffee.

Jennie Bates a Visual artist who incorporates illustration, photography and collage into her work to make screen prints which represent the life and loves of Jennie.

JoAmi is a Scottish knitwear maker, creating beautiful, sustainable wearable goods. You’re sure to see her pieces wandering around the southside!

John Maguire Ceramics makes wheel thrown pieces for home decor or for eating your porridge out of. Useful and Beautiful. William Morris would approve.

Julia Gittins is a resident BAM. Top Barista and even better artist, Julia has been our best gal since the shops launch in late 2018.

Kerrianne Flett is a recent ish addition to our shop. We saw her work in South Block and we loved it. Calming pieces in the most beautiful porcelain. Dreamy.

Lindsay Grime is a Glasgow based maker with many talents! We are lucky to stock her ceramic jewellery and some of her ceramic homewares, but you may also see some of her bright and elaborate murals around the city too.

Little Em creates the sweetest prints and cards for your little ones! A recent addition to the shop and one we are very pleased about!

Liv Dugdale is a local freelance illustrator. Her drawings and risograph prints are beautifully observed and will be as lovely as her on your walls.

Lou Rowland an Irish illustrator and print maker based in Glasgow producing graphic Risograph prints in bold, bright colours. We now also stock her screen printed linen cushions too. Perfect way to tie an interior together.

Love and Squalor hand make sustainable and contemporary clothing that will last you a lifetime. Rebecca has such an eye for form and detail and creates a huge range of day and nightwear that we are lucky to stock.

Lund London created the iconic Skittle Bottle in all their neon varieties: for hot and cold drinks they do brighten their surroundings immensely.

Mandy Makes Marks is a wonderful local illustrator creating gorgeous soft pastel landscapes of the Scottish mountains. Understandably a best seller.

Margo McDaid a Kent based illustrator whose fun, empowering work based mainly on female portraits has been a big hit with Glasgow’s Southside!

Maxy Machen one of our opening artists. His work is super fun and cool and will make your walls smile! He also has an iZettle reader if you ever need to borrow one.

Melodie Stacey is a Brighton based illustrator and artist whose work takes influences from 20th Century painting. sculpture and photography. We love the surreal, dark fairy tale vibes from her work and have stocked her since our opening in 2018.

Millie Scott Studio embraces sustainability with their “little luxuries that don’t cost the earth”. All produced with remnants, offcuts and recycled fabrics.

Miss Pom Pom  is an independent womenswear and accessories brand based in Brixton, South London. Founded in 2013, the label is the sister of the sustainable womenswear brand Lowie. We love their squiggle jumpsuits.

Nmarra is all about statement brass earrings and we are all about her and her work. Stunning shiny things that we cant get enough of! So good!

Olivia Taylor locally makes sustainable gold and silver jewellery inspired by Japanese architecture. We absolutely love her and her work, you’ll probably see at least one of us in something she’s made!

Original Duckhead keep us dry with their charming, idiom worthy umbrellas made from recycled plastic bottles. Like water off…

Pavilion bring us chic, modern and geometric-inspired notebooks. They also make prints and cards.

Robert Hunter is a local ceramicist creating beautiful earthy-toned pieces that really do capture the architecture and nature that inspires him.

Rosana Exposito creates earthy toned, sustainable knitwear. Her timeless pieces are made from natural fibres and surplus material, so good for you and the planet.

Rosana Reade is a more recent addition to the shop, but already extremely popular. Her complex and colourful Lino cut prints are both lighthearted and illustrate the joys in the mundane.

Saltwater Stoneware is a Glasgow based ceramist whose south side studio is just a couple minutes walk from our shop. Couldn’t be more local if we tried.

Seania Strain is a locally based illustrator that reimagines Glasgow as a bright and beautiful ‘ feminist city’. We love both her artwork and her message!

Smith and Gibb is a local maker that we just love! Rebecca makes contemporary enamel jewellery that is bold and, of course, a bestseller.

She Bloomin Gathered locally makes stunning dried flower arrangements, fit for any and every occasion.

Szilver Ceramics is a locally based artist that makes illustrated ceramics that have such a unique style. Combining earthy tones and whimsical imagery, you can’t go wrong.

Studio CN - Cathleen is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working in ceramics, graphic design and illustration.

Studio Emma was created in 2016 by designer Emma McDowall, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Working with imaginative colour combinations to create bold, decorative pieces, each of which is entirely unique.

Tori Meads is a Scottish maker, creating contemporary, bespoke pieces of furniture using patchwork Harris Tweed. Her unique geometric patchworks and bright colours will add joy to your home.

UNIK a sustainable slow fashion brand based in Edinburgh. We LOVE everything they produce and have to try very hard not to keep all the pieces for ourselves.

Will Sharp creates contemporary and sustainable jewellery pieces that use recycled silver and 3D printed bioplastic. We, and the planet love his stuff!
